I've seen the film three times now and it gets better with each viewing. Peter Jackson told Charlie Rose (on tv) the other night that he wanted to make a film which transported him to another place, like the films he saw as a child did; he said films didn't really do that very much these days. I could not agree with him more. This was one of the things that impressed me the most on my first viewing (that and the towering - no put intended - performance by Ian McKellan. I DID get the feeling I was in a different world, a different time, and I TOO have been missing that in films. Thank you, Peter. I am hungrily awaiting the next two.

This is my favourite edition of The Lord of The Rings trilogy. Frodo and Gandalf's stare down as to see which one will burst into laughter first will always have me smiling. 3. I don't remember watching some scenes. Is it a deleted scene. Best scene in the trilogy. I have goosebumps. Anyone else get those too. 1:12:05 Lurtz has an ouch. Ill never forget what it was like when I saw this movie opening night way back in 2001. I had the most amazing movie theater experience of my life. As soon as it faded to black and Peter Jacksons name appeared, I and the whole theater erupted into thunderous applause. I still to this day have never had that kind of experience before or since.

When I finished the last lord of the rings movie I was watching on my laptop in my room and i was crying and my mom walked in. I already read the books before that but I didint get the full feeling of sadness when they left in the books compared to the movies. WHAT THE HEK GANDALF WHAT WAS THAT WHY DID YOU USE THE BLACK SPEECH, ELROND WAS ABOUT TO HANDLE IT BUT NOOO. YOU AND YOUR TEMPER YOUR GIVING THE ELVES A MIGRAINE HERE. AND BOROMIR SHUT UP, YOURE NOT GETTING THE RING AND NOBODY AND I REPEAT NOBODY GLARES AT MY LEGGY ' throws rotten tomatoes on gandalf and boromir,s face then goes maniac starts climbing the chandelier and runs through the wall yelling a war cry.

Rôdo obu za ring tone nextel. Faithful to the book and dazzling to behold, Lord of the Rings is the beginning of an astounding epic! Though I have only read the Hobbitt and the Fellowship of the Ring, I can tell that this film was made BY fans FOR fans. Do NOT miss this movie on the big screen, or you will regret it. Its so beautiful.
